At Saffron Unisex Salon & Spa ("Saffron Spa," "we," "us," "our"), we strive to provide exceptional wellness experiences. However, we understand that plans can change. This Refund and Return Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds, cancellations, or adjustments may be made. By booking a service or purchasing any package/voucher from us, you agree to the terms below.
Our Commitment: We handle every refund request with fairness and empathy. If you're ever dissatisfied, please speak with our manager immediately during your visit.
Cancellation & Refund Eligibility
The following table outlines our cancellation and refund structure for individual services:

Note: For group bookings (2+ persons) or special event reservations, a 24-hour cancellation notice is required for a full refund. Late cancellations for groups may incur a 50% charge.
Prepaid Packages & Membership Plans
We offer value packages (e.g., 5-session massage packs, seasonal wellness memberships) for clients seeking regular treatments.
- Unused Packages: If you have purchased a package but have not used any sessions, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, subject to a 10% administrative fee.
- Partially Used Packages: Refunds for partially used packages are calculated on a pro-rata basis, minus a 15% service fee and the value of sessions already used (at full non-discounted rates).
- Expired Packages: Packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Expired packages are non-refundable but may be extended with a 20% reactivation fee at our discretion.
- Non-Transferable: Packages are generally non-transferable unless approved by management (transfer fee may apply).
Gift Vouchers: Saffron Spa gift vouchers are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person. Vouchers expire 12 months from issue date unless specified otherwise.
Service Dissatisfaction
Your complete satisfaction is our priority. If you are unhappy with a service received:
- Immediate Feedback: Please inform our spa manager before leaving the premises. We will make every effort to address your concern — whether through a complimentary adjustment, partial refund, or re-service at no extra cost.
- No Refunds After Departure: Once you have left the spa, we cannot process refunds for service dissatisfaction as we lose the opportunity to rectify the issue in real time.
- Partial Refunds: In rare cases where a service cannot be completed due to therapist error or equipment failure, we will offer a partial refund proportional to the uncompleted portion.
Health & Medical Contraindications
If you fail to disclose a medical condition (e.g., pregnancy, recent surgery, high blood pressure, skin infections, injuries) that contraindicates a treatment, and the service must be stopped mid-way or cannot be performed, no refund will be issued. We always encourage full disclosure during the booking or consultation process to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
Returns on Retail Products
Saffron Spa offers select wellness products (oils, creams, candles, aromatherapy blends) for purchase. Our return policy for retail items:
- Unopened & Unused Products: May be returned within 7 days of purchase with original receipt for a full refund or exchange.
- Opened or Used Products: Cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety reasons unless the product is defective.
- Defective Products: If you receive a damaged or defective product, please notify us within 48 hours of purchase. We will replace it or issue a full refund after inspection.
- Refund Method: Refunds for retail products will be issued via the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
Late Arrival Policy
We respect your time and ask that you respect ours. If you arrive late:
- Your treatment will end at the originally scheduled time to avoid disrupting the next client.
- No refund or discount will be provided for the lost time due to late arrival.
- If you are more than 20 minutes late without notice, your appointment may be considered a no-show and charged accordingly.
Spa Cancellations (By Saffron Spa)
In the rare event that we need to cancel your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (therapist emergency, power outage, natural events, etc.):
- We will notify you as soon as possible via phone or WhatsApp.
- You may choose to reschedule at a convenient time at no additional cost.
- If you prefer a refund for any prepaid service, we will process a 100% refund within 5-7 business days.
Refund Process & Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever possible. The timeline depends on the payment method:
- Cash / UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm): Instant or within 24 hours.
- Credit / Debit Card: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank).
- Bank Transfer / NEFT: 3-5 business days.
Refunds will be issued to the same account/person who made the original payment. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment gateways or banks.
Dispute Resolution
If you believe a refund is due under circumstances not covered above, please contact us in writing. Any disputes arising from this Refund Policy shall be first attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Belagavi, Karnataka, India.
Policy Modifications
Saffron Spa reserves the right to update or modify this Refund and Return Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on this page. The policy in effect at the time of your booking or purchase will apply.
